Every day is an opportunity to do better than the day before.  Each morning I wake with gratitude and joyfulness looking forward to the day ahead  thankful and excited to be alive for yet another glorious day.  It is up to me to continue that feeling throughout the day and to pass it on whenever I get a chance.

I cannot change the past but I can learn from it and do better.  When I find it really difficult, I think of people who are dealing with lives that are much harder than mine.  I think about those who have died before me and what I can do to honor the good that they set in motion.  I think of those whose lives I can impact with just little acts of kindness.  I think of all that I have learned and experienced which cannot change my past but can certainly inform and shape my future and perhaps that of others.

That is where I find my strength and that is where I find hope.  I wish the same for you as your journey continues.
