As the end of the year approaches, we take time to reflect on the year that is ending. We have all heard the expression “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Well sometimes absence means just that you have been gone. Then the question is “where have you been?” I know stepping away from social media is always risky because people move on. I completely understand that but sometimes a person needs to do what must be done.

Now I am back and more excited and energized than ever! I stepped away to focus on family and friends who needed me. I stepped away to focus on my health and that needed my full attention. I also stepped away to re-brand and re-launch my site and I could not be more delighted by the results. Welcome to “Love The Journey” I owe a big “thank you” to Michelle Greene and Lauren Hayes of Rough & Ready Media whose talent and creativity helped my vision of the changes happen. I have a beautiful new site which is not just celebrating the journey of those of us who have reached the glorious 60’s (and more) but also celebrate what we’ve learned along the way and the journey yet to come.
There is so much going on around us to bring us down. I like to focus on that which lifts us and makes us think of ourselves and those around us in a more positive way no matter where we are in our journey. It is not lost on me that most of my readers are in my age group but there are many who are younger, older, male, female and we all share so much regardless of our differences. We all need to find our joy and share it with each other. Follow me as the journey resumes. Laugh, cry, ponder and even share if you wish but whatever you do remember that no matter what age we are we can all love our journey.
