I intentionally waited until the day after Veterans Day to add this post. Like with many celebrations – on the day of the holiday we remember with ceremonies, parades and speeches. But afterwards, the sun sets, we all go home or change the channel and move on to the next celebration.
Our first responders, members of the military and even the families of these brave men and women knowingly take on the demands of their services and in doing so they risk all in service to all of us. They should be honored and celebrated each and every day. For without them and those who have gone before them – we would not have a chance to live as we do.
