Who Says Girls Are Weak?

Fighting like a girl made us strong women.  It used to be the ultimate put down to tell a boy or a man that he was fighting like a girl or acting like a woman.  If they only stopped for a minute and thought about it they would have seen that it is the ultimate compliment.  We fight for jobs.  We fight for self-respect.  We fight for rights.  We fight for freedom.  We fight to give life.  We fight to save lives.  We fight for each other.  We never stop and we cannot give up.

As women we still have that young girl inside us and want to continue to make her proud of who we are and what we have accomplished.  We want to be role models and examples of fighters and leaders so that others choose not only to follow us as we have followed others but to surpass us because each generation, each young girl is stronger, bolder and smarter than the ones who came before her.  Let’s keep growing and fighting to be not only the best that we can be but to bring out the best in us all.
